Nestled on the Long Island Sound, Stamford is an exciting place to live, work and visit. This thriving cosmopolitan center is rich with successful commercial enterprises and culture, making it one of Connecticut’s best cities for your home and family.
Rapid growth of corporate headquarters in the 1980s catapulted the downtown skyline from an already thriving community to having many tall office buildings. However despite its built up downtown, Stamford has maintained its distinctive New England charm.
Stamford has abundant leisure activities and cultural amenities. Boat tours on the river provide a special glimpse of the city’s beauty and charm. The full range of outdoor activities can be found at Cove Island Park, an eighty three acre nature preserve that offers visitors a choice of beaches, picnic grounds and bluffs.

Therefore, there should be plenty of time to make sure your credit report is accurate before you even begin searching through Connecticut real estate listings, calling realtors and scheduling viewings.
